Tree-O

This was one of my very early infra-red photographs, shortly after I had seen a lecture on the subject at a BCC beginner's class.

It was taken in Crystal Palace park on a very cold January day, along with the photographs of the children's bouncy castle: "The crooked house" and "One, two buckle my shoe".

Unfortunately, this reproduction doesn't show the detail in the branches at the top of the tree that appears in the original print.

I was lucky enough to win the runner's up certificate in the monochrome class at the 1993 BCC exhibition with this picture, thus gaining my promotion to the advanced class, (having achieved promotion from preliminary to intermediate at the 1992 exhibition).
