Norwich Cathedral

This picture was taken on a day trip to Norwich whilst staying with friends in Lowestoft.

It was taken in 1976 - many years before I ever heard the expression "record photography".

What appealed to me was the way that the spire stood out against the bright blue sky, and I was able to frame it with the overhanging leaves.

I once printed this up to poster size (about 40" by 30" ), by using pre-pasted wallpaper troughs for the developer and fixer.

It came out quite well, - I must mount that print one of these days!
