Mark Ticehurst

In May 1998, I was invited to take some shots of a racing team that was competing in the Vectra V6 challenge at the touring car event at Brands Hatch.

This shot is of the team's main driver Mark Ticehurst driving car number 15, on the exit from Druid's bend.

After a blown engine in practice, Mark started last on the grid at position 16. Despite the failure of his power steering on the first lap, he managed to make it up to finish in 6th place, after some very impressive driving.
