One, two, buckle my shoe

This was taken in Crystal Palace park on a very cold January day, along with "Tree-O", and is one of my first infra-red photographs.

It was hand-held at 1/8th of a second, using the standard infra-red exposure technique of pure guesswork!

The two children in the background are quite blurred in the original print, and I especially enjoy the framing effect formed by the shadow of the playground swings in the left foreground.

Another similar picture called "The crooked house" will appear in a later gallery.
